12. Appendix

12.1 Glossary

Window: a fixed time span, typically 60 minutes, over which activity in a token is measured from the durable ledger.

Receipt: a posted, verifiable measurement of the window following a public claim.

Durable ledger: FAUST’s append-only record of every decoded swap; the source of all published figures.

Indexed swap volume: USD notional of swaps FAUST decoded and priced; a subset of chain-wide DEX volume.

Canonical stock token: one of the 96 official tokenized equities verified against the issuer; all same-ticker others are impostors.

MCP: Model Context Protocol, the open standard through which agents query FAUST.

SIGHT: FAUST’s on-chain incentive points program, funded from the ecosystem allocation.
