11. Trust, Verification, and Safety
11.1 Verify Any Number Yourself
Every figure FAUST publishes traces to the durable ledger, and closed windows recompute to identical values permanently. The terminal and public API expose the same data the agents and FAUSTeyes consume; there is no private version of the truth. If FAUST is ever wrong, the data to prove it is public, and that is by design.
11.2 Independence
FAUST Protocol is an independent project built on Robinhood Chain. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to Robinhood Markets, Inc. or any of its subsidiaries. The Faust engine was open-sourced by Robinhood in 2018 under a permissive license; our revival and deployment of it is our own work. Statements about Robinhood’s past use of the engine are historical, and no statement here should be read as implying a current relationship.

Never DM you first, about anything.
Never operate a claim site, ask you to connect a wallet, or request a signature or payment for any airdrop.
Never give financial advice, price predictions, or targets.
Never execute trades, custody funds, or take control of any wallet. FAUST is intelligence, never execution.
Never publish a number it cannot verify from its own ledger or a named source.
